I am very busy. I work full time and also go to school full time. Most of the food I eat is quick and conveinent because I have nor the time or energy to create elaborate healthy snacks to bring in a little cooler and blah blah blah. Anyway, the reason for my question is because I really want to start eating every 2-3 hours instead of 3 big meals. Therefore, I need something quick, filling, and above all healthy. High protein, low glycemic/starch, but not just protein bars. That can get expensive real quick. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Fruit is good as a snack. Low-fat yoghurt is good as well.

Almonds, celery sticks or apple slices w/peanut or almond butter. I like to make my own beef and chicken jerky and fruit leather too! You can make it all at the beginning of the week and have it ready to grab and run out the door! Good luck!

You could bring a can of almonds to work, and eat a serving of those or you could bring really any nuts. You can bring a whole wheat english muffin with a little all natural peanut butter. Or celery and peanut butter, or an apple with peanut butter. You could also bring a special K bar. Those are filling and aren’t very bad for you.
