    1. Glucose and glyogen.

    2. Carbohydrates are used for energy for the body. Protein is used for reparing and maintaining body cells and fats are used for producing insulation.

    3. The glycemic index (GI) is a tool used to measure how fast and how high a carbohydrate with raise a person’s blood sugar.

    4. A glycemic load tell one exactly how many carbohydrates are in the food. You need to know both to effectively keep your blood sugar levels safe.

    5. Eating a lot of high GI foods can be detrimental to your health because it pushes your body to extremes. This is especially true if you are overweight and sedentary. Switching to eating mainly low GI carbs that slowly trickle glucose into your blood stream keeps your energy levels balanced and means you will feel fuller for longer between meals.

    * Low GI diets help people lose and control weight
    * Low GI diets increase the body’s sensitivity to insulin
    * Low GI carbs improve diabetes control

    6. People with diabetes must pay close attention to their dietary intake, portion sizes, and meal frequency. What you eat, or more specifically the carbohydrates (or carbs) in the food you eat, are the body’s main source of glucose. Diabetes does not mean that these carbohydrate-containing foods must be completely cut out of the diet; in fact, much of our foods contain nutrients that are essential to good health.

    1. Simple sugars, or polysaccharides. I think it’s poly. But I’m not sure.
    2. Fats insulate organs while proteins are good for growth. You need carbs for energy and so your body doesn’t use the protein for energy.

Not sure about the other ones. Good luck. Have you tried google?
