What about natural peanut butter (not jif or peter pan, the natural stuff where the oil separates at the top)? My endocrinologist said that I need to stay away from starchy foods because it messes with my insulin/hormones. I never eat white bread, but I do love wheat bread. What are some starchy foods to stay away from? Also, is low glycemic a good plan to follow if you cant have too much starch.

I do not have any idea how to see if a honey is organic but on the bottle, it didn’t state but it is 100% Australian Family Owned, so it is or not? and.. how do I check the amount of glycemic index in the honey (It’s not on the nutrition information label

lose weight but it’s hard giving up tortillas, I’ll be watching those carbs carefully and I know that corn is high on the glycemic index, any experience on this? thank you.

Diabetics can drink OJ with some sugar mixed in and it raises the blood sugar almost instantaneously. How could it have a low/medium GI?
