And, if this is correct, WHY IS THAT!? Wouldn’t the carbohydrates break down quite quickly from being so processed? The writings of Dr. Andrew Weil further skepticize me…
It also has pineapple juice as low-GI, and I thought tropical fruits were supposed to be high-GI… man, I’m going crazy here!

    Maybe whoever told you was wrong. It could also be they were just talking about carbs. There is also something called the GI Load. For instance, watermelon is kinda high on the GI Index, but it’s low on the GI Load, that’s because of the amount of carbs per portion.     The carbohydrates are good but misleading. The simple ones, as sugar, help to reduce the feeling of hunger but the effect is limited. The complexes, like pasta, potatoes and rice, take more time to produce energy and control the hunger longer.
