Wanna learn how to make decadent frozen chocolate-covered bananas the healthy way!? Then join me for this raw food recipe where I’ll show you how to make this tasty and nutrition-packed dessert sugar and guilt free, all without compromising flavor! Here’s a list of what you’ll need: TOOLS: – plastic wrap OR foil – wooden skewer OR popscicle stick – knife, spoon, small mixing bow, and scissors – freezer INGREDIENTS: – 1 large banana, very ripe – 1/4 C extra virgin coconut oil – 1/4 C raw cacao – 1 to 2 Tbs coconut sugar AND/OR agave nectar – peppermint OR vanilla extract (preferably alcohol free), few drops to taste – 1.5 Tbs raw walnut pieces There you go! This treat may look “naughty” (HAH!), but it isn’t!     @sardiguez For beginners, I recommend Anni Phyo’s books because of their simplicity – especially “Ani’s Raw Good Desserts…” and “Ani’s Raw Food Essentials..”. Also, “Everyday Raw”, “Raw Food/Real World: 100 Recipes to Get the Glow”, and “Entertaining in the Raw” all by Matthew Kenney have some really delicious recipes. However, like most raw food books, his tend to be a bit more time consuming, ingredient heavy, and require frequent use of tools like a dehydrator. Hope that helps :-)

    @LolaGetty Haha! I know, right! I love food chemistry – we can be science nerds together – YAY! I adore coconut oil and all its lovely properties, and without it this recipe would be a total “fail”, hehe.     Great video! I didn’t know that coconut oil solidifies at the room temperature- kind of a neat fact (I also love science ^^))

And thank you so much…yeah, I suffered from obesity as an adolescent – it was torture both physically and emotionally :-( But yes, I’m in a much happier place now, as I’m sure you can relate! Congratulations again, hon, and I will continue to do these little healthy recipe videos so we, and others, can hopefully benefit from them :-)
