my mom’s going on this low glycemic diet. i’ve never heard of it before and it sounds legitimate. i just want to know if it is safe/is it proven to work. i know it involves eating barely any suger or no sugar at all but thats about it.

    Yes, my doctor put me on this diet. It’s recommended for people that are borderline diabetic. As with all diets, you should consult a doctor before going on. My doctor told me to keep my index below 50. It works really well and I feel a lot better. It will take up to two months before you see any results, but overall its a much more healthy lifestyle.
