I had a sweet baby boy about 2 1/2 months ago and on delivery day weighed 207!!! About three weeks after the birth I had automatically lost 16 lbs, putting me at 191, which for my height 5′3 is obese, no doubt about it.
My prepregnancy weight was 150 (still overweight for my height). So anyway, I decided to follow the low glycemic index diet, which is actually more of a lifestyle than a diet.
In the past four weeks I have lost over twenty lbs, putting my weight at 170. I plan on going until I reach 130!!! :)
This diet is very natural and healthy…that just seems like a lot of weight to lose in such a short time. I’ve also been exercising like mad.
Healthy? How long should it take me to lose the rest?

If you are serious about LOSING WEIGHT, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
    energy you use.

Since you’re doing it in a healthy way and not starving yourself, I wouldn’t worry. You seem to be doing great:) Congrats on the baby boy!!!
