John from www.okraw.com tests his blood sugar to see if Raw Agave Syrup will raise his blood sugar. He also talks about agave and the use of other concentrated sweeteners in the raw foods diet.

    Stevia is an excellent sweetener. I encourage everyone to grow their own plant and eat the leaves! Otherwise, whole green dried leaf is best.. Also try using fresh fruits, they are best, after that would be dried fruits. So dried fruits blended with some water would make a “liquid”. Dates, raisins, prunes and other dried fruits work well.

    As I had mentioned in the video, the effect that food has on blood sugar is only one (easily) tested result on the body. I wish I could measure (easily) the other effects, such as on the liver.

    wow,awesome …hardcore! great information, thanks for doing this experiment and putting this information out- it will help lots of people. by the way you said dried fruit is basically fresh fruit without the sugar- instead of without the water. peace!

    Thank you, I will definitely rethink my choices in the future. Have you considered a similar experiment after eating a mono fruit meal like the tangerines you have there? I think it would be an interesting comparison.
