i have always assumed that i am hypoglycemic because i have to eat every 2-3 hours in order to not feel really irritable, lightheaded, tired and depressed. lately though i have found that right after i eat lunch , afternoon snack and dinner i have to exercise for 15-20 mins in order to feel normal.

otherwise right after i eat i will feel hot, shaky, and irritable. this seems odd to me since my meals and snacks are very balanced consisting of a veggie a protein and a low glycemic carb. i drink orange juice when i feel like my blood sugar is really low but it is always balanced with another protein.
i am going to talk to my doc either way but i just wanted to see if anyone else had personal experience with this.

it has also been very difficult to concentrate lately. if i go without the exercise i become very tired and irritable, it is diff. to do anything other than sleep.

does this strongly indicate diabetes or hypoglycemia?
i also feel thirsty and have to pee all the time.

    i just got a glucose testing done today. ahh i hate needles.
    i have to got to the bathroom alot like even if i dont drink anything. but im thirsty all the time and am really tired and irratible.
    i suggest you go get a fasting glucose test done. i get my results tomorrow. gawd i hope i dont have it! good luck!

    I don’t think this is diabetes, because the lack of insulin would make you feel worse after exercise.

    I also don’t think this is hypoglycemia, because the lack of sugar would make you feel worse after exercise.

    Could it be something you ate?

    After you eat it takes 30 minutes or so for glucose to get into the bloodstream. Avoid high amounts of sugar. Eat balanced meals with whole grains at regular times.
