I have switched to whole wheats & high fiber but it’s still doing a number on a my blood sugars. I need a low glycemic index bread that dosn’t require a 20 mile trip to some specialty store and yet still tastes like a bread. Whole wheat pasta hasn’t helped much either.

Try something like spelt or quinoa, if your city is big enough you should be able to find them in your grocery store.

We have a pasta here that looks and tastes like white pasta, but is 30% fibre. It is really yummy. I am with you, I don’t like the taste of brown pasta, and I like all the cardboard tasting stuff, like Ryvita flat bread!.

Really search your grocery shelves for a similar product. It’s called Catelli Smart Pasta here.
